A GROUP of schoolchildren have built their own memorial to remember the fallen on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
P7 pupils at Oakwood Primary School in Easterhouse, Glasgow, created a Remembrance garden, because the housing estate didn’t have a special place to commemorate the dead from both world wars.
The children opened the garden yesterday during a moving ceremony, which was attended by veterans and serving personnel.
