RORY BEST hopes head coach Joe Schmidt will decide to commit his long-term future to Ireland.
The Kiwi’s current deal expires after next year’s World Cup in Japan but the in-demand boss has already revealed he will make a decision about his next move before the end of the year.
Ahead of today’s clash with Argentina, Irish captain Best said: “From a player’s point of view, and even from an Irish rugby fan’s point of view, you want to see the best coaches staying.
“He’s the best coach I’ve ever worked with. In my opinion he’s one of the best in the world.”
