CLARKE: SFA HAVE BLANKED KILLIE
STEVE CLARKE claims Kilmarnock have been blanked by the SFA over their complaints about refs chief John Fleming.
And the Rugby Park boss will “await with interest” the Hampden response to Rangers’ attack on referee Willie Collum. Killie complained BY CRAIG SWAN about “unprecedented” comments made by Fleming after winger Jordan Jones copped a two-game ban for diving in the win over Dundee.
Although the club chose not to appeal, they were stunned by a letter from Fleming to a Dundee fans’ group where he claimed Killie’s actions “clearly” indicated guilt.
And Clarke said: “I am still holding my breath waiting on them replying to Kilmarnock for their query about Mr Fleming’s statement. We have had nothing back from them, so maybe the letter has got lost in the post.”
Meanwhile, Killie keeper Jamie MacDonald has received a Scotland call-up ahead of today’s clash with old club Hearts at Tynecastle.
And Clarke said: “It is a measure of Jamie’s consistency here.”
