Spoilt kids have lost it
A SCHEME that lets kids’ football teams field more players if they’re getting thrashed has been slated.
FA chiefs hope the “power play”, which allows teams to introduce an extra player when they are losing by four or more goals, will stop youngsters getting too upset when they are losing.
But the scheme has been blasted by parents on social media. Brent Pettit wrote: “We are growing a nation of pampered players.”
The FA said they’d had positive feedback “so far”.
