Two in­jured as stone hits bus win­dow

A BUS driver and a pas­sen­ger were in­jured when a thug hurled a stone at a bus win­dow.

Po­lice warned yesterday the in­ci­dent could have had “hor­ren­dous” con­se­quences.

The 73A Stage­coach bus was trav­el­ling through Broughty Ferry, Dundee, when it was struck by a large stone at about 5.10pm on Thurs­day.

The driver suf­fered in­juries to his neck and a fe­male pas­sen­ger had to be treated in hos­pi­tal af­ter glass got in her eye.

Po­lice have ap­pealed for wit­nesses.
