MILLIONS of mobile users were unable to get online, and many couldn’t receive calls, after O2’s network crashed on Thursday.
The company yesterday offered customers a discount and an apology.
The compensation news – and the outage – met with a mixed response online.
wrote on our Facebook page: “Thank you for an amazing job O2. Some parents actually put their phones down and spent time with their kids.”
But said: “My phone just went back on at 11.30am. I have a child with complex health issues. Good job I didn’t need a doctor.”
