MIL­LIONS of mo­bile users were un­able to get on­line, and many couldn’t re­ceive calls, af­ter O2’s net­work crashed on Thurs­day.

The com­pany yesterday of­fered cus­tomers a dis­count and an apol­ogy.

The com­pen­sa­tion news – and the out­age – met with a mixed re­sponse on­line.
