Montrose will have old man in their mind

-

RAITH boss John McGlynn reckons two of Montrose’s players will be determined to get one over his side at Links Park today – to keep their dad happy.

Arbroath boss Dick Campbell’s sons Ian and Ross will be in the visitors’’ line-up and McGlynn believes as well as wanting to win for their side, they will be aiming to strike a blow for their old man who is leading League One ahead of Raith.

McGlynn said: “They have an added incentive to win as Dick’s sons Ian and Ross both play for Montrose so I am sure they will be out to make their dad happy.”

McGlynn has never faced Montrose in the league during his managerial career but has been doing his homework.

He said: “We will be well prepared for them.”

Montrose striker Craig Johnston is delighted to be taking on Raith on the back of two wins.

He said: “It was good to go to East Fife last Saturday and win on the back of beating Annan in the Scottish Cup. That has set us up really nicely for the visit of Raith.”
