Burke takes nothing for granted in glory chases
CHRIS BURKE won the only championship medal of his career in the final two minutes of 2004-05.
So the veteran winger is not getting ahead of himself after Kilmarnock moved to the top of the Premiership just in time to face champions Celtic at Parkhead this afternoon.
Burke said: “The time I won the league with Rangers was fantastic, it was Helicopter Sunday.
“So you never know in football when things are going to go your way. At this moment in time things are going our way at Killie but it’s a long season.
“We’ve only played 16 games and Celtic have games in hand. Who’s to say how those games are going to go?”
