J’s back on Voice
JESSIE J is returning to The Voice, this time as a coach on the children’s spin-off.
The Price Tag singer, 30, will join ITV’s The Voice Kids UK with Will.i.am, Danny Jones and Pixie Lott.
Jessie J – who featured on BBC’s original The Voice – said: “I am grateful to have been asked back.” LEGENDARY rocker Peter Hook has told how Pete Shelley inspired him to become a full-time musician after the pair trashed a Scots hotel.
Hook’s band Joy Division supported Shelley’s Buzzcocks at the legendary Glasgow Apollo on October 5, 1979.
Afterwards, the bassist and Shelley, who died last week, were among the culprits who broke into the Grosvenor Hilton bar – trashing the hotel in the middle of the night.
Hook, 63, said: “Our crew were on the bus with Buzzcocks’ crew so they got treated like royalty and were having a high old time with everything you get in rock’n’roll.
“In Glasgow, we all stayed in a hotel that night and we all got plastered and ended up breaking into the bar to get more booze. Then we got absolutely p ***** and started smashing up the whole hotel because they’d laid it out for breakfast.
“We really went to town as only a group of 23-year-olds could do after a sell-out gig at Glasgow Apollo.”

“The hotel staff had discovered the damage and we were told to get the f*** out because we were all going to get arrested.
“We had to vacate really quickly because the police were coming and there was a worry we might end up in the cells and that would screw up the next gig.
“Both Joy Division and Buzzcocks got banned from the Hilton.” But Hook has no regrets. “It was one of those moments in a group that was scary but really exciting,” he said. “It was great. We really thought we’d achieved
