£5m fund for Highlands

The Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund, led by Scottish Natural Heritage, opens for applications today. Match funding from other sources will bring the overall investment to more than £7million.

The cash will be invested in about 10 major projects, with job creation cited as a key measure of success.
