APRIL 2 Alex Sal­mond in­forms Ni­cola Stur­geon that he is be­ing in­ves­ti­gated by the Scot­tish Gov­ern­ment dur­ing a face-to-face meet­ing at the First Min­is­ter’s house in Glas­gow. Stur­geon’s chief of staff Liz Lloyd – a Gov­ern­ment em­ployee – is present. The meet­ing had been set up af­ter an in­ter­me­di­ary for Sal­mond re­quested it through Lloyd.

APRIL 23 Sal­mond tells Stur­geon he is on the brink of tak­ing le­gal ac­tion against her Gov­ern­ment in a phone call.

JUNE 6 Stur­geon writes to Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary Les­lie Evans to tell her she is aware of the sex­ual ha­rass­ment in­ves­ti­ga­tion and has dis­cussed it with Sal­mond. She also in­forms Evans about the im­mi­nent le­gal ac­tion.

JUNE 7 Sal­mond and Stur­geon meet face to face on the eve of the SNP con­fer­ence in Aberdeen.

JULY 14 A third meet­ing takes place, in Stur­geon’s Glas­gow home.

JULY 18 A fi­nal call takes place be­tween Stur­geon and Sal­mond.
