Glen’s like Barry, he’s sheer class
NEIL McCANN believes Rangers have snapped up the new Barry Ferguson in Glen Kamara.
Kamara completed his £45,000 switch from Dundee to Ibrox on deadline day.
He is yet to feature for Steven Gerrard’s side but McCann, who brought the Finland international to Dens Park in 2017, is certain Kamara can make a telling impact.
He said: “His best attribute is sitting in front of the back four and conducting play.
“When I look back at my successful time at Rangers, we had Barry Ferguson controlling the tempo. He wasn’t overly physical but he would cover ground so quickly and snuff out danger, change direction, pick a pass. That’s Kamara.
“If he gets into the side it will be very difficult to move him. Rangers are getting a class act.”
