Keep your mouthshut ..or petrol is going through your door
Twisted bouncer wanted to intimidate potential witness
A BOUNCER was caught with petrol bombs after threatening to blow up the home of a man who was set to give evidence against him.
Jordan Cook, 27, was expected to stand trial over an alleged assault on Michael Doris but feared a conviction would see him lose his Security Industry Authority licence.
Cook was heard saying he planned to petrol bomb Michael’s home to scare him.
He also wrote to him threatening to kneecap him and cut off his fingers.
The letter, which had a picture of a knife with blood dripping from it, said: “Keep your mouth shut or petrol is going through your door.
“We’re warning you. We’ll be waiting for you. We will find you. Open your mouth and we’ll 1) scarface you; 2) kneecap you; 3) throw bleach on your face; 4) hook you up to jump leads; 5) put a blowtorch to your feet; 6) cut your fingers off with a saw. “Your choice, pick one.” Cook’s mother later found bottles containing accelerant in his bedroom and police were alerted, Paisley Sheriff Court heard. Cook had previously admitted placing his mum in a state of fear or alarm by saying he wanted to petrol bomb Michael’s home in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, on November 6, 2015. He also confessed to sending the letter.
Cook had originally been placed on a community payback order but breached it and appeared back in the dock to be sentenced.
Cook, of Johnstone, was jailed for 330 days. Last week, the thug was caged for two years, with a year’s supervision on his release, for torching his sister’s flat.
The sentences will run concurrently.
