CHELSEA .......... 3 DYNAMO KIEV..0

-

Loftus-Cheek after Hudson-Odoi’s goal CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI came off the bench to seal a convincing Chelsea win after Pedro and Willian scored super goals.

Andriy Shevchenko and Glenn Hoddle were guests at Stamford Bridge last night.

And both would have appreciated the outrageous bits of skill for the first two goals which lit up an ordinary game before Hudson-Odoi’s late cameo gave the Blues a decisive lead to take to Ukraine.

But ahead of next week’s return leg Blues boss Maurizio Sarri warned the tie isn’t over. He said: “We played a very good match without conceding.

“The third goal is very important, 3-0 is an important result. Of course we have to play the second leg and be careful.”

For the first goal in 17 minutes Olivier Giroud flicked a pass through defender Artem Shabanov’s legs and Pedro completed the double nutmeg by shooting through goalkeeper Denys Boyko.

After a pedestrian start to the second half, Sarri hauled off Jorginho and Ross Barkley for Ruben LoftusCheek and N’Golo Kante.

Loftus-Cheek immediately won a free-kick on the edge of the Dynamo box and Willian stepped up to curl one of his specials over the wall into the top corner.

The England man then fired over before fellow sub Hudson-Odoi scored with a low shot in the 90th minute.
