Where there’s a will there’s a way
15 DAYS Channel 5, 9pm
AFTER starring in Coronation Street for seven years, Catherine Tyldesley is used to soap-opera levels of drama. And she’s no stranger to playing a character struggling with family tension.
In this murder mystery, Catherine plays Sara, one member of a complex family thrown together as disaster plays out.
Dark and chilling, it begins with a young man, Rhys, and his partner, Joy, trying desperately to leave a house in the middle of the night, fearing they are in danger.
They are proven right when a shot rings out and Rhys is fatally wounded – but who killed him?
Flashback to 15 days earlier and we meet Rhys and his siblings Sara, Gareth and Nia as they arrive at the family farm to scatter the ashes of their recently departed mother. But you will never have seen passive aggression like it.
It seems there is a large inheritance at stake, which is why the warring siblings have all come running to the family home.
As they all nervously await the reading of the will, it turns out that Gareth has already set in motion a lucrative housing estate deal on the land. We also learn about a longstanding feud, as well as other difficult relationships within the family, not to mention some adulterous ones too.
The will delivers a nasty surprise and there’s unease over what really happened when their father died in a drowning five years earlier. Was it really an accident? It’s going to be a tough 15 days...
