It comes after Jim McCafferty became the fourth man with connections to Celtic Boys’ Club to be jailed for abusing children.

Former boys’ club manager Frank Cairney, 83, was jailed earlier this year for a 20-year long campaign of abuse while ex-chairman Gerrard King was convicted of carrying out assaults against children. Jim Torbett, 71, was jailed for six years last year.
