Flat attack police appeal

POLICE have called for information on three men seen running from a burning car after an axe attack.

A 45-year-old man was attacked in his flat in Duddingston Row, Edinburgh, when two thugs wearing black balaclavas forced their way in at 10.10pm on April 30.

A red Honda CRV was later found burnt out in Gilmerton Dykes.

The three men ran off towards Lasswade Road.
