Cheers to Stephen’s cheeky puppet, says girlfriend Lauren

puppet two years after Stephen, 50, left the family home in Perthshire to be with his new love Lauren Thundow.

In a swipe at her ex, Mandy advertised the doll she had bought him on Facebook for £6000, saying it had “more heart and chat than the original”.

The fate of the puppet, created for a sketch on the hit comedy show in the early 90s, was unknown... until now.

And it seems the snooker world champion was reluctant to part with the gift which he showed off during a tour of his home before the split.

Former children’s entertainer Lauren, 31, recently revealed she was spending a night in with the doll at the couple’s Berkshire home on her Instagram page. Posing with a glass of wine and the unmistakable puppet in the background, Lauren wrote: “Right, well… for the next 17 days I’ve just got this one for company. At least I won’t have to share the wine.”
