Clutha probe hears of fuel kit problems
OPERATORS of the Clutha tragedy helicopter were becoming increasingly worried about fuel indicator problems before the crash, a fatal accident inquiry heard yesterday.
Ten people died when the police copter crashed into the Glasgow pub on November 29, 2013.
Martin Forster, Avionics Manager at Babcock, said the firm had issues with fuel probes and sent them to Airbus for replacements.
Forster said: “The fuel probe replacements and problems with the fuel system were within the areas of the aircraft that we were concerned about.”
The inquiry continues.
