Cove’s High hopes for Fyvie

-

COVE RANGERS chief Keith Moorhouse admits the door is open for Fraser Fyvie to join the Highland League champions.

Cove are interested in the recently-released Dundee United midfielder who has a close relationship with many of their staff and players.

Chairman Moorhouse knows any move could be scuppered if Fyvie decides to remain in full-time football but sealing promotion to the senior ranks this weekend against Berwick Rangers could hold sway with the ex-Aberdeen star.

He said: “Fraser is a friend of the club. Would we like him to play for us? Absolutely.

“I dare so though he will continue to play full-time. We all know what a talented player he is. But if he fancies a change of career path he knows we would be interested and where we are.”
