First headliner Lauren’s big festival debut

-

absolute highlight for me at TRNSMT last year. She owned the stage completely and I was captivated by her presence. She has minimal stage set-up but her songs and her belief are what pull you in. LAUREN Spiteri is proud to be the first-ever headliner of the Queen Tut’s stage tonight. The niece of Texas star Sharleen Spiteri has only released two singles – but they are crackers. And while she’s arrived relatively late to music, the 30-year-old is one of our most promising stars. Pure excitement. I released my debut single in March and didn’t think that I would be playing a festival so early on in my career. The fact that it’s in my home town is a bonus. I’m looking forward to letting people hear my music. on the day. I’m looking forward to seeing all the acts. I love a festival. I was taken to T in The Park every year since I was a toddler and continued to go as a teen. When I was about eight, I made my mum and her friend take me as close to the stage as possible to see the Stereophonics so I could throw a teddy on stage for Kelly. I was a massive fan – I still am. I’m looking forward to Jimothy Lacoste – I’m a massive fan. I’ll also check out my friend Arielle’s DJ set and am looking forward to Stormzy.
