Donaldson wants to Coll home a fortress

-

COLL DONALDSON insists Caley Thistle are putting their dodgy home form behind them.

A spate of draws – seven in a row and 10 in 13 games from this time last year – blighted their promotion campaign last term.

This season everything looks rosier on the field after four wins from the last five games.

Defender Donaldson, looking to beat Queen of the South today, said: “We’re confident and that’s a big part of it.

“We have a wee bit of a swagger about us this year.

“Especially at home, we’re trying to win games and win them with a bit of style as well.

“It is still early days – we were right up near the top of the table early last season as well.

“It isn’t suddenly problem fixed. We still have to work on it and work hard to win these home games.

“Against Queens, the aim has to be three points.”

Doonhamers manager Allan Johnston is hoping to build on last week’s win over Morton.

He said: “I was delighted for the players that they managed to get their first three points last week.

“We must follow that up with another positive result against Inverness.”
