SCARLETT LASHES OUT AT GRANDSON

Last week’s trip to Shieldinch was rather dramatic to say the least, and life there may never be the same again – certainly not for distraught Scarlett.
Grief-stricken, she’s determined to wipe out all trace of Dougie, so throws out all his possessions, a move that horrifies Poppy. Scarlett also takes out her anger on the unfortunate Callum. Stevie steps in to offer him a place to stay, leaving his mother to reconsider her actions, heal the rift within her family and, if possible, look to the future.
Lenny is also facing trouble. After receiving a tip-off he manages to destroy the evidence Lou planted in Amber Cabs, but DCI Grant has him in his sights anyway, and tells the villain in no uncertain terms that, thanks to a damning piece of footage, he remains the chief suspect in Lydia’s murder.
On a lighter note, Dylan tries to woo Ruby – with increasingly disastrous moves.
