£8m cop bill for Euro break
THE cost of preparing police for Brexit in Scotland has passed £8million.
The Scottish Police Authority revealed the total ahead of a board meeting in Falkirk next Tuesday.
Spending has increased by £1million since the last figure emerged in August.
Police Scotland’s Brexit delivery team is increasing to four detective inspectors, five detective sergeants, 22 detective constables and two members of police staff.
