Travel staff ‘had to buy own loo roll’

Thousands of employees were due to be paid next week but now face being laid off without any redundancy pay, according to Unite.

Rachel Reeves, chair of the business, energy and industrial strategy committee, said: “There are serious questions to answer, including about the company’s accounting practices, its remuneration policy and practice and about the stewardship of the company.

“We are keen to seek answers to these questions and will
