Johnny, who was previously spared jail after arming himself with two swords in the street, died weeks after he was released on bail over two separate court cases.
He was allegedly caught in possession of drugs, while armed with a knife, in Greenock at the beginning of last month.
And he was also charged with carrying out a serious assault on a man in a case that called at Paisley Sheriff Court a week later.
On March 6, Johnny appeared at Greenock Sheriff
Court, under his real name of John Scott Winters, and was granted bail on three charges.
Prosecutors claimed that he was armed with a knife, was in possession of heroin and behaved in a threatening or abusive way in Oxford Road, Greenock, on March 4 this year, by shouting, swearing and threatening violence.
And, on March 13, he appeared in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court charged with assault to severe injury – and was again released on bail.
