STV, 7.30pm You might want to cheer as Yasmeen picks up her suitcase and strides out of the house. She tells Alya she’s coming to the wedding and she was right all along. But Yasmeen is horrified to find messages on her phone from Geoff suggesting he might still have a hold over her after all.
Meanwhile, Chesney is surprised to get home and discover that Bernie is moving out. Bernie implores him to keep an eye on Gemma when she’s gone.
EASTENDERS
BBC1, 8pm Phil has handed himself into the police and wakes up in a cell prepared to confess all, but Ritchie arrives and tries to swoop in and stop him saying anything.
Billy is upset when Karen mentions moving out of Walford, but Mitch suggests that he and Bailey move with her.
Ian destroys the phone and revels in kicking Dotty out. But he isn’t prepared for what Dotty does next. In other news, Mick is deflated after getting The Vic valued.
LIAR STV, 9pm THE clues have been stacking up in this thriller, with plenty of conspiracy theories about who killed Andrew Earlham.
The smarmy surgeon (Ioan Gruffudd) was revealed as a serial rapist and then killed off by an unknown assailant, being dumped with his throat slashed in the marshes.
Of course, no one particularly cares that he’s dead, but now we’ve come this far, we definitely need to find out whodunnit.
Plenty of people could have wanted him gone, but his recent victim Laura Nielson (Joanne Froggatt) is the prime suspect. It’s not looking good for Laura, who faces a pile of evidence against her, not to mention one cop who appears to be framing her and another who just doesn’t like the look of her.
