£5k coke find in police raid

A COCAINE haul worth £5000 was seized when police raided a man’s home.

Officers also recovered three sets of scales and bags used for packaging the white powder, Hamilton Sheriff Court heard.

Dean King, 26, admitted being concerned in the supply of the drug at his house in East Kilbride last October. He was on bail for another matter at the time.

King did not appear in court for the hearing and Sheriff Thomas Millar deferred sentence until September 2.
