Former champ Conor waits for results of police investigation
CONOR McGregor must wait for results of “key physical tests” and a probe of possible film evidence before learning if he will be quizzed by cops again.
The cage fighting star was held in Corsica overnight on Friday over allegations of indecent exposure.
Local reports quoted a friend of a woman who claimed the Irishman, 32, had “exhibited his private parts to [her] without her consent” when she went to the toilets at a bar.
The pal said the woman, on holiday with her husband, had been “deeply shocked”.
McGregor, believed to have been with his bodyguards, was said to have been drinking heavily. y.
He denies the allegations andand has been released without charge while inquiries continue. A source close to the investigation said: “Key physical tests were carried out on the suspect. They are routine but take time.
“It is also possible the incident was filmed. It was a busy place, with fixed cameras everywhere.
“Lots of holidaymakers would have been filming and taking pictures on phones and they need to be spoken to.”
McGregor had been staying on his £3million yacht in the port of Calvi with fiancee Dee Devlin and their two children.
After officers arrived at the port on Friday, he cycled to the police station for questioning. The incidentincide is alleged to have taken place in the town the preprevious weekend.
