Travis set to reclaim No1 chart spot

SCOTS band Travis are just 364 chart sales above their nearest rival in a bid for the No1 spot.

Fran Healy and the band’s ninth album, 10 Songs, is in pole position claiming most physical and download sales at the midweek stage.

If they hold on, it will be the first UK No1 they’ve had since 2001’s Invisible Band. Their second album The Man Who in 1999 also reached the top spot.

In at No2 at the halfway mark is Headie One with his debut album Edna. The rapper is leading on st reaming with the collection which features Top 3 single Ain’t It Different.

Completing the Top 3 is the legendary John Lennon with Gimme Some Truth, a new collection – produced by his widow Yoko and son Sean.
