33-year-old badly hurt in street attack

A MAN suffered serious facial injuries in a street attack in Glasgow.

Police were called to the scene in Panmure Street at about 6.20pm on Sunday.

The 33-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The road was closed between Wester Common Drive and Balglass Street until shortly after midnight.

A police spokesman said: “Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
