Devolution nightmare
MARKING the 20th anniversary of the death of Donald Dewar, two of his close associates, Brian Wilson and David Whitton, have said the late first minister would have been aghast at what devolution has become under the SNP.
The SNP’s failure to use its powers for the good of Scots is a sorry indictment on its leadership since 2007.
But then Donald Dewar would not have spent every waking moment on attempts to discredit, weaken and divide the UK.
