Firefighters tackle blazing bus on road

FIRE crews battled a blaze that erupted on a bus as it drove on a busy road.

Firefighters were called to the B921 near Kinglassie, Fife, to reports of the vehicle ablaze on the dual carriageway yesterday at about 2.15pm.

The fire service said two appliances attended the scene, one from Kirkcaldy and one from Glenrothes.

It is understood there have been no reports of injuries from the blaze.
