Boy, 7, hurt in horror car crash

A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car.

Police appealed for anyone with information to come forward after the crash in Airdrie on Tuesday, at about 5.30pm.

The boy, who was said to have been struck by a grey Ford Kuga, was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
