RAIL travellers faced disruption yesterday after a car drove onto train lines at a station.
The hatchback was pictured parked across the track, blocking trains at Stirling station.
An image released by ScotRail shows the vehicle with its doors open as a train sits waiting behind it.
The incident raised a laugh online and readers logged on to the Record’s Facebook to comment.
Iain Lawrence wrote: “I bet somebody ran out and shouted, ‘ You can’t park your car there, mate.”
Derek Craig said: “It happens. Railway tracks, parking space – it’s easy to get confused and mistake one for the other.”
