JONNY WILLIAMS repaid Ryan Giggs’ faith in him as his first international goal kept Wales top of their group.

Giggs, without Gareth Bale, threw him on in the 72nd minute and the Charlton midfielder sidefooted in Neco Williams’ ball with five minutes left.

Williams said: “It was an amazing moment for me. The gaffer put me on in a false nine position.

“First time I’ve played there and I’ve repaid him with a goal. I wondered if I would ever get my first goal but here I am.”
