Fans just want green light
CELTIC fans are clamouring for a return to live matches with 99.5 per cent of 16,980 season- ticket holders surveyed saying they’re ready to go back to Parkhead.
The club survey also showed 99 per cent willing to complete a Covid-19 screening questionnaire before attending while 86 per cent would accept a seat allocated in a different part of the stadium.
With Celtic preparing to play Rangers behind closed doors on Saturday, a club spokesman said: “The information will be crucial to us as we look ahead to a safe supporter return.
“The survey demonstrates an over-riding willingness of fans to get back to Celtic Park when safe and adhere to a wide range of safety measures as part of any return.
“Celtic’s already worked tirelessly on establishing protocols for the safe return of supporters. We fully appreciate a return will be led by wider considerations, however when given the green light, we’re ready to go.”
