Green rebels target bank in protest
ENVIRONMENTAL pressure group Extinction Rebellion (XR) called on big business to clean up its act in a protest outside a bank yesterday
Activist Caitlyn Macleod sat in a green bath of oil and money outside Barclays bank in Inverness’s Union Street.
The stunt was set up by Extinction Rebellion Highland campaigners. A month-long drive, organised by XR Scotland, aims to highlight their view that multinational firms, banks and governments conspire in continuing to extract fossil fuels around the world.
