AC/DC bass guitar man Paul is dead
FORMER AC/DC bass guitarist Paul Matters has died.
The musician joined the rockers in 1975 after the release of their High Voltage album, replacing original bassist Larry Van Kriedt.
He was then fired just a few weeks later by the band’s late lead singer Bon Scott.
Mark Evans stepped in to take his place.
Matters’ death was announced on Facebook by his pal Rod Wescombe, who said his friend had led a “reclusive life” in later years, with his wild rock and roll lifestyle of his youth causing him health problems.
