Open businesses hit by new rules can claim grant
BUSINESSES which remain open but have suffered a loss in trade due to the new coronavirus restrictions will be able to claim for a Government support grant.
Finance Secretary Kate Forbes said the hardship grant fund will sit alongside support for companies which have had to close until October 26.
The Scottish Government has announced a £40million package to help businesses through the latest phase of the pandemic,ic, including the £20million grant fund administeredd by local councils.
Speaking on BBC Radio Scotland’s Good Morning Scotland programme ogramme yesterday, Forbes said she wants too make sure those businesses receive £1000 00 to £1500 “as s quickly as possible”.
