O2 fan ban a sickener for AJ

-

ANTHONY JOSHUA admits his December 12 homecoming fight with Kubrat Pulev will be missing “something huge” without fans.

Joshua confirmed he will defend his WBA Super, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles against mandatory challenger Pulev at London’s O2 in his first UK fight in more than two years.

Joshua made his name as a pro at The O2 and said: “It’s the original lion’s den.

“I have a lot of history with the arena but without the fans something huge is missing. I’m really hoping that, safety permitting, we might be able to bring some boxing fans in but we will have to see.”

Bulgarian Pulev added: “I’m coming to London to seize the championship.”
