Snubbed bailout offer still stands

THE Premier League insist their £50million rescue package to League One and League Two clubs is still on the table.

The EFL rejected the offer, designed to assist clubs affected by Covid-19, on Thursday.

But in a statement the Premier League said: “We can confirm the rescue package remains available.”
