Thief on bike robs woman

A MAN on a bike has stolen a woman’s jewellery.

Police appealed for witnesses to the incident that happened at about 6.30pm on Saturday on the cycle path between Wardie Road and Granton Road in Boswall, Edinburgh.

The man demanded the 39-year-old’s watch and diamond rings before riding off towards Drylaw.

The suspect is white, of medium build, with short dark hair and had a local accent. He was wearing a dark cotton tracksuit.
