Kebab chain to open 12 more restaurants
GERMAN Doner Kebab is to open another 12 restaurants creating 480 jobs this year despite turmoil in the dining sector.
The Glasgow- based chain, which has 47 fastfood outlets across the UK, has seen sales rise since fully reopening sites.
It said UK same-store sales jumped by 46 per cent in August on the same month last year. New sites will open in in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bradford, Plymouth and London. It also plans to open more franchises in Canada, Sweden and Saudi Arabia.
Chief executive Imran Sayeed said: “We are excited to build momentum in our plans for growth and to be creating hundreds of jobs throughout the country.”
