Giro stage win was Hart work

TAO GEOGHEGAN HART became the latest British winner on a grand tour after sprinting to victory on stage 15 of the Giro d’Italia in Piancavallo.

Th e 25-year-old Londoner saw off Team Sunweb pair Wi l co Kelderman and Jai Hindley for a win that also puts him in contention in the general classification.

Kelderman’s second place cut the overall lead of Portugal’s Joao Almeida to just 15 seconds.
