BOOT SCOOTIN BABY (3.50) should extend David Evans’ winning run in a trappy classified contest. The filly recorded a personal best when second to the well-treated It Just Takes Time at Newcastle.
That form is pretty solid so this lightly-raced three-yearold can go one better dropped in grade.
Alan Brown has also hit some form so I’m backing BLACKCURRENT (4.20) in the other classified event. The five-year-old gelding is still on a fair mark after outbattling Marwari in a slightly better sprint at Newcastle.
INEVITABLE OUTCOME
(4.50) can continue his recent revival in the sprint handicap. David Loughnane’s speedster remains well-treated after dismissing Final Frontier over track and trip.
Mark Johnston’s MY GIRL MAGGIE (5.20) is well worth a punt in the staying handicap.
The filly put in another cracking shift when hacking up from Lord Halifax over 1m 4f on Boxing Day.
The four-year-old was doing all her best work late that day so she can follow up over an extra two furlongs.
TERMONATOR (5.50) looks deadly for shrewd handler Grant Tuer in the Betway Handicap. The five-year-old won’t mind returning to 1m 1f after edging out Palazzo over a mile at Newcastle.
BIG KITTY (6.50) can open her account at the second time of asking in the novice contest. Michael Bell’s filly rates a sure- fire improver after chasing home Lady Percival on debut last month.
INAAM (7.20) can follow up his recent Lingfield success in the Bombardier Handicap.
John Butler’s gelding remains fairly-treated after a comfortable defeat of Vandad.
Sean Curran is flying at present so I’m siding with REVOLUTIONARY MAN (7.50) in the last.
