GREECE is the word for new routes on Ryanair.

With the country looking a favourite for post-lockdown sunshine getaways, the budget carrier will add Santorini, Zante and Preveza – on Greece’s northwest mainland – to its Stansted schedule for the summer season.

Birmingham, East Midlands, Manchester, Southend and Stansted will also get five extra flights every week to Corfu and Rhodes.

■■LOGANAIR is linking up parts of the UK with new services this summer.

Teesside Internatio­nal will be connected to Bristol, while the carrier will take over the City of Derry to Liverpool route from Ryanair. One-way fares on the north-east to south-west link start at £49.99, with the trip across the Irish Sea from £44.99.
