A giant mutant lizard spawned from an atomic test rampages through the streets of New York, defying the combined might of the US army and navy as it searches for a quiet place to hatch its eggs. A lawyer is left for dead after an ambush, in which his Texas Ranger brother is killed, but is saved by a mysterious Native American fugitive. Concealing his identity behind a mask, he and his new ally hunt down the outlaws behind the attack – only to find their actions are just part of a larger evil scheme. A group of rogue police officers responds to a complaint with apparent retribution rather than justice in mind, launching a raid on a group of African-Americans. Fact-based drama, with John Boyega and Anthony Mackie.
