Poor areas’ dementia risk

LIVING in a disadvantaged area could lead to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, a study suggests.

The University of Wisconsin team behind the findings believe the causes for the decline could include air pollution, stressful life events and lack of access to healthy food and healthcare.
