A fitting tribute

I FEEL certain that if HRH Prince Philip had been alive and present at the funeral he would have applauded himself for a job very well done.

He left nothing to chance. Each and every move had his stamp on it – including the specially adapted Land Rover that he helped design for his final journey – but he would have felt a lot of sorrow seeing his beloved wife Queen Elizabeth II sitting alone while in grief as I am sure millions of viewers were, too.

A straightforward intensely personal funeral service that was Philip to a tee. It was really good to see Princes William and Harry walking side by side, having a brotherly chat as they left the church service on their way back to hopefully have a beer together with their gran and the rest of the family and maybe get set about healing any wounds that they can.
